Inclusive pedagogy focuses on students’ evolving identities and language acquisition needs. It reflects both authentic and action-oriented learning of French as a second\/additional language. Through a broader definition of the term “text,” this teaching practice values the spiral of language acquisition. It prioritizes oral communication, which is then linked directly to reading and writing in context, in order to implement anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and anti-colonial teaching practices.<\/p>\n
