So CASLT Members Say
The Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT) offers its members an array of opportunities for involvement, input, and influence.
CASLT members who participate in our conferences and workshops access the latest developments in second language teaching, and enjoy networking with their colleagues throughout Canada. These forums promote the exchange of information among professionals in order to build a diverse and dynamic community of educators. Feedback from evaluation forms at conferences and workshops also help us better align our services and products.

CASLT also benefits from our members' involvement and participation. Our members' insights, as well as experience in the field allow us to stay abreast of educators' perspectives and maintain an awareness of emerging trends and issues.
We conduct annual member research to better understand the needs of our members:
- Member Survey (Summer 2004) - Member feedback on CASLT Services
- Member Survey (Summer 2005) - Inactive and Active CASLT Members provide feedback on why they joined CASLT and what the association can improve to get them to renew their memberships
- Member Survey (Summer 2006) - Members shared information about themselves, their professional priorities and their suggestions for CASLT in the future.
- Member Survey (Summer 2007) - Teachers of international languages provided feedback on ways CASLT can enhance its services to them.
We also conduct monthly member polls in our online newsletters:
