Games and Activities: « Truc » du Métier

Level: Grades 9 - 12 ; a reading and writing activity

 Take a sentence containing a structure you wish to reinforce. Write the sentence on word cards, one word on each card. Distribute cards at random to students. On your signal, students go to front of class and "form the sentence (i.e., Arrange themselves in the correct order). Have someone else read the sentence and judge its correctness. You can ask comprehension questions about the sentence. (Maybe the stronger students can even do this).

Example:

M. De. Couray a acheté le diamant rouge en Egypt.

De quelle couleur est le diamant?
Qui a acheté le diamant?
Où a-t-il acheté le diamant?, etc.,
