Activity
The students examine and compare two web sites to identify and name essential characteristics for an efficient and attractive web site.
Learning Outcomes
The student will be required to:
- evaluate the components of a web site;
- establish the essential characteristics for a web site;
- use a technological vocabulary.
Technological skills
The student will be required to:
- print a text;
- explore a web site;
- surf the Internet.
Learning Scenario
- The students examine two web sites using given criteria.
- Afterwards, they establish the essential characteristics of a good web site.
Criteria for Evaluation
- Was the student able to establish at least four essential characteristics of a web site?
- Was the student able to justify his/her choice?
- Was the student able to complete the self evaluation form?
- The self evaluation may be completed in one of two ways:
- When you click on the "Self Evaluation" navigation button, you will be presented with the self evaluation form. You may discuss these questions orally with your students.
