Let's visit our museums

Teacher's Notes

Activity

Students get information about museums in Quebec in order to make an oral presentation about them.

Learning Outcomes

The student will be required to:

1. understand and evaluate documents found on the Internet;
2. communicate orally with the purpose in informing the class about the museums.

Technological skills

The student will be required to:

1. go to a web site;
2. use word processing software.

Learning Scenario

1. Students will do research on the Internet about museums in Quebec;
2. they will then present their research to the class.

Criteria for Evaluation

1. The strong points of the oral presentation
2. One area to improve in
3. The ease with which the technology is used.

The self evaluation may be completed in one of two ways:

1. When you click on the "Self Evaluation" navigation button, you will be presented with the self evaluation form. You may discuss these questions orally with your students.
2. If you would prefer to have your students write their answers to the self evaluation questions, click on the icon in the left column at the top of this page.

Extension Activity

Make a list of the best suggestions made by your class to improve the sites you have visited and mail it to the following address:
