French Teachers' Bursary Program
Bursaries to assist Core French, Immersion or Francophone Program teachers to attend credit and non-credit courses to improve their French academic and linguistic qualifications. The bursary covers tuition, transportation and living expenses for immersion courses and tuition for courses taken for credit only to a maximum amount for both.
Bursary for French Teachers in Training
Explore - A bursary covering room, board and tuition to enable anglophone students who have completed at least Grade 11 or higher education, to enroll in five-week immersion courses in French. For more information, and for access to the online application form (available in December), please visit the the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) Explore website.
Destination Clic - A bursary covering room, board and tuition to enable francophone students, as defined under Section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, who have completed Grade 8 or 9, to enroll in a three-week course in French. For more information, and for access to the online application form (available in December), please visit the CMEC's Destination Clic website.
Official Languages Study Fellowship (PDF, 121KB) - A fellowship to encourage students to enter a full-time postsecondary program offered in French at a francophone or bilingual institution for a period of one academic year.

French Immersion for Teachers (FIT) Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface - A limited number of bursaries is available for participants in the program, which includes language courses, pedagogical and cultural workshops and cultural activities.
