Foreign Language Test Database - This database contains information on tests in over 70 languages. Each test record includes information on test level, skill area, format, scoring method, materials, cost, and availability, as well as test author and contact information.
2Learn.ca - Resources to help teachers integrate technology in the classroom. Includes the following: research strategies; teacher tools; PD growth.
Coloring Pages - Downloadable, Printable Pages - Hundreds of coloring pages listed under six general categories: seasons; educational; nature; holidays; characters.
Community Learning Network - CLN is designed to help K-12 teachers integrate technology into their classrooms. Over 265 menu pages with more than 5,800 annotated links to free resources on educational WWW sites -- all organized within an intuitive structure.
ePALS Classroom Exchange - This completely free service lists thousands of classrooms who use the site to form international friendships and exchange information and ideas. The site includes a search engine to help locate epals from more than 180 different countries.
Foreign Language Search Engines Galore - Over one hundred search engines from more than 40 countries in the world.
Language Dictionaries - Online dictionaries for over 240 languages.
Puzzlemaker.com is an elegant site which makes it easy to create puzzles and games for your newsletters, flyers, handouts, or classroom assignments. Teachers can also create word searches, crisscross puzzles, number blocks, cryptograms, and letter tiles.
Quia - Games for Learning - Free ready-made games and activities in English, French and other languages such as Dutch, Russian, German, Italian etc. You could also create your own game and add it to this website in your own webpage which is given to you for free when you sign in.
Royalty-Free Clip Art Collection for Foreign/Second Language Instruction - This page contains a growing collection of clip art (simple line-drawings) to be used by foreign language instructors. Drawings are designed to be culturally and linguistically neutral as much as possible.
RubiStar - RubiStar provides generic rubrics that can simply be printed and used for many typical projects and research assignments. The unique thing about RubiStar, however, is that it provides these generic rubrics in a format that can be customized. The teacher can change almost all suggested text in the rubric to make it fit their own project.
TeAch-nology.com - Especially useful to build a fun L2 activity is the BINGO Card Generator: simply input any word you wish and easily generate a bingo card with either 9 or 25. words. Also useful is the Educational Download Center - World Languages that provides a listing and description of a number of freeware and shareware second language programs that you can download. The General Rubric Generator is a handy tool as well.
The Node Learning Technologies Network - a not-for-profit organization which promotes effective uses of Internet-based technologies in education and training. Its aim is to forge links between the capabilities of new technology tools and good pedagogical practice.
Trackstar - an on-line interface that helps instructors organize and annotate Web sites (URLs) into lessons.
