Summer Training Sessions
Each summer, provinces and territories hold summer institutes to train teachers on the Intensive French program. We will post information here when dates are decided.

Title: Leadership Institute for Second Language Educators

This two-day workshop covers several key topics for lead educators in language programs, including:
- Characteristics of effective language programming
- Assessment and analyzing of program effectiveness
- Inclusive education in language programming
- Effective technologies for language learning
- Local, national and international trends in languages

Training on the Neurolinguistics Approach
Primary and secondary levels FSL teachers: the Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB) invites you to its training on how to use the neurolinguistics approach in your intensive and core French classes. Newfoundland and Labrador

The Faculty of Education of Memorial University will offer (subject to funding, enrolment, and approval by the Faculty Council) a Graduate Summer Institute for French Teachers (SIFT) during the 2016 summer session at the St. John’s Campus. Applicants will be French teachers, principals, assistant principals, program specialists, etc., who have an undergraduate degree with a major in French or have significant experiences in the French language giving a proficiency level of B2 on the Council of Europe's common reference levels.
