A joint project, between CASLT and the Canadian Modern Language Review (CMLR). In our continuing effort to offer pedagogical support to our members, we developed this project in view of making L2 research more accessible and relevant to language educators.

You will find below several CMLR articles on classroom pedagogy, and to their corresponding Teachers Guides, developed by Dr. Callie Mady of Nipissing University. The guides will help you put into practice some of the research findings published in the CMLR. These guides aim to promote reflection on our teaching, by providing a summary of each article in an interview format with the author researchers, by offering suggestions for practical implications gleaned from each article, by giving thought-provoking after-reading questions and by suggesting other articles for further reading.

Note: the articles and videos appear in the language they were released.
