CASLT hosts an annual networking day to share information and ideas among its partners and interested second language education stakeholders.

The day features updates on CASLT initiatives and priorities, presentations by invited guests, and a working session focused on a particular issue or trend affecting second language educators in Canada. This forum provides an opportunity to discuss recommendations and projects requiring joint initiatives.

Participation is by invitation only for representatives of the CASLT Board of Directors and National Council, provincial and territorial departments of education, provincial language associations, and the provincial and territorial teacher federations. Attendance by key partner organizations, including the Canadian Teachers' Federation and the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages, is essential to providing a broader representation of teacher support organizations and a strong base for future collaborative work and commitments.

This event is usually held at the same time as CASLT’s Annual General Meeting.

Next Networking Day: Friday, September 29, 2017 – Crowne Plaza Hotel – 2 Montcalm Street, Gatineau, QC
