FSL Teacher Education Project
CASLT has launched a two-year research project that aims to identify ways to better equip new FSL teachers for success in the early stages of their careers.
The initiative is funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage as part of its FSL Teacher Recruitment and Retention Strategy.
The project, conducted by the FSL Teacher Education Consortium, is called Identifying Requirements and Gaps in French as a Second Language (FSL) Teacher Education: Recommendations and Guidelines.
View the video below for a brief introduction to the study and its objectives by lead researcher, Dr. Stephanie Arnott.
