CASLT Event Description
Each year, CASLT hosts a networking event following its Annual General Meeting (AGM). Networking Day is a great opportunity for CASLT members, partners, and second language education stakeholders to share information and ideas. CASLT presented its 2019 AGM and Networking Day in conjunction with EducLang’s biennial conference and the Ontario Modern Language Teachers Association (OMLTA) fall conference. As a result, attendance at the Networking Day was close to 200 people. Attendees also benefited from a much greater selection of professional development sessions than at past Networking Days. Thanks to this partnership, attendees had access to close to 80 presentations and workshops.
