My Virtual Classroom
My Virtual Classroom, March 2 and 4
With the rapid, large-scale switch to online teaching last March, teachers had to adapt quickly — but it hasn’t always been easy. CASLT has created a new resource to help teachers thrive in a distance learning and teaching environment. Welcome to “My Virtual Classroom!”
Registration is open for our final My Virtual Classroom webinar. In this 75-minute roundtable webinar, four expert practitioners will outline their approaches to language assessment in remote contexts, each sharing a best practice for online assessment of specific language competencies. The Q&A session that follows will leave lots of time to explore the issues.
Panelists: Quinton Stotz, Stephanie Jackson-Basuyaux, Isabelle Côté, and Sarah Fedoration
March 2 at 7 pm EST (English): Roundtable Wrap-Up: Reliable Assessment Practices for Distance Learning
March 4 at 7 pm EST (French): Synthèse en table ronde : Des pratiques d’évaluation fiables pour l’apprentissage à distance
