Kate Powless
Kate Powless is a second language speaker, learner, and educator based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Her teaching career began in Japan in 2005, where she taught English as a Second Language. Since then, Kate has accumulated extensive experience teaching Core and Post-Intensive French to Grades 9 to 12. In the summer of 2022, she completed her Master of Education, focusing on student motivation and retention in second language programming. With a passion for language learning and teaching, Kate is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with fellow educators.
